What We Do
Lautoka Hockey Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to managing and nurturing the sport of field hockey in the Sugar City. As the official body responsible for the district, the Association oversees the smooth running of club competitions, ensures fair play, and works to strengthen the game at every level.
Affiliated to the Fiji Hockey Federation, which in turn is recognised by the International Hockey Federation and the Oceania Hockey Federation, Lautoka Hockey Association operates within a global sporting framework while staying deeply rooted in its local community. Its role includes organising seasonal leagues, registering clubs, coordinating fixtures, managing umpires, and ensuring that club members—from juniors to veterans—can enjoy structured and competitive hockey.
Membership fees, club registrations and compliance with national policies form part of its administrative responsibilities. Beyond competitions, the Association also supports development programs, encourages youth participation, and works with partners to improve facilities and opportunities for players.
For decades, Lautoka Hockey Association has been the guardian of the sport in the district, keeping the spirit of hockey alive and creating a pathway for generations of players to learn, compete and thrive.
